The Eagles’ GU10 team won the 28th annual North Huntington Beach (NHB) Cup, played on Aug. 26-28 in Fountain Valley. The Eagles went undefeated at NHB, and gave up just one goal in the entire tournament. They won a shoot-out against Glendora in the quarter finals, battled through two overtime periods against Wolfpack in the semis, and went on to clinch the championship by defeating the Irvine Strikers 1-0.  The GU10s end their summer tournament season with two Finalist finishes playing as olders (Santa Barbara Cup, Eagles Classic) and two Championships (NHB Cup, CVU Oaks Classic). The members of the Eagles GU10 team are Shelby Dailor, Aimee Ellis, Jo Grode, Kendall Lewis, Callie McLaughlin, Jessica Mendez, Kailee Morehead, Gillian Myers, Kate N'Guetta, Ariana Singer, and Valita Stoke.
